In dreams there it lies, past the magic mirror and will'o'wisp's light. Beyond words that have faded to legend and myth stands a world long forgotten. Altear that land is called, the otherworld. In that fabled land the children of the old gods live and breath. It is their Kingdom, the land of Fairie that the Old Ways of antiquity live, and where a fractured peace could lead to war or to a new age.

The last High King of the Fairies has died and no heir can be found. Which means a new leader must be elected, and a new Royal family assembled. Because without a true monarch to lead the country, ancient Clann Feuds and courtly politics threaten to bring down the ancient Kingdom of Fairie.

The days are counting down as the time of the vote draws near. After the death of a Seleighe supporter in the city of Mists tensions are on the rise. Violence could break out at any moment. So either the great kingdom will fall in fire or be reunited by a new monarch. Only time will tell.

Supposedly, Vanir raiders hoisted their barbaric cousins into their ships and used them as shock troops. This surprising result has caused and uproar with the Houses of the Duchy. Threats have already been given to the current Arch Duke, Okken, that his family is no longer fit to rule. With this advancement, rumors are spreading that the Huldivolk of Huldilend have openly recieved Skaldirs rule as an advancement for the tribal petty kingdoms of Alfheim. Meaning a new Nord HIgh Kingdom might result from the current unificationi. As of yet no one is sure if Skaldir is in fact behind the Vliagifan take over or not. Local Seleighe supporter found hanged in Cathair Ceochan Within the last several weeks a rise of nobles for the yearly gathering of the Dal has caused an increase of courtly politics within the usually quiet city of mists. Yesterday on the 98th of Sneatcha, Fionn Ó Caer-Mór, an open advocate of the Seleighe agenda was found murdered in the streets of Gentry Lane. Some have spoken outright blaming Unseleighe extremists, even blaming the mythical Order of Brands for the attack. Others however, especially among Clann Caer's peoples have lodged the attacks as an attempt by Lir Clansmen to scare their opposing court members to either vote for Kenneth or not partake in the motions of the Dal. The Ua Macha Call out for Recognition With Chaos already in bloom the recent passing of what is now being called the Declaration of Manann has resulted in the Sept of Baile Macha to declare independence from it's Arbatach lieges. A supposed member of the Raven Clann's of the Coill, the Macha along with their allies the Ua Brea have demanded that the Dal recognized their existence as independent Clann's of Aes Dana Blood. Who have full rights to their own governance as all other Clanns are. The movement in Manann has not fallen on deaf ears however. Members of the supposed Dead Clanns of the Ua Lugh, their rivals the Ua Flidais and allies of the Ua Aine and Ua Brigid have all taken to supporting the movement. Even as going so far as calling for the reinstatement of Cymru. A Memorial to those killed by the Flidais and Lugh Today on the 99th of Sneatcha fifty years ago, Cymru was dissolved as a Province. Civil war between opposing Clanns forced the hand of blessed Aengus Ard Rí. Both Taoiseach Lugaid and his enemy Taoiseach Andras were beheaded by royal order. The rest of their families by order were either executed of exiled as the province would later become abandoned because of the genocide committed on both sides. In this day we remember the innocents who died in the Flidais carnage and the tyrannical actions of Lugaid Ó Lugh-Mór. For though he was voraciously attacked via treachery of his enemy Andras, his fanatical resolve to wipe out the Flidsais and their allies the Brigid led to the near extinction of the Cymric Clanns. For this we remember how a good man could go mad, and how one jealous man could start a useless war that would cause the destruction of the fabled southlands of Cymru. May Danu have mercy upon them.
